February MADSA Membership Meeting (open to all)

After a hectic January of marches and a great Democratic Socialist Dialogue (see website) we are resuming our every-other-month general membership meetings - always open to anyone interested in DSA -  which feature reports from our members and coalition partners on activism in Atlanta. We will highlight the new political climate and push-back movements: Atlanta Jobs with Justice; immigrant rights and Ga-J20 coalition; ABCs of Socialism study sessions; Jacobin reading group; the International Rescue Committee and the refugee crisis; our Equity vs. Gentrification bus tour; Sen.Fort's mayoral campaign; and Khalid Kamau's campaign for the South Fulton City Council; and our MADSA work groups on labor, social media, education, LGBTQ issues, and action. (This will be the last meeting we can hold at the Open Door Community, which unfortunately will be closing very soon. New location TBA.)
